Play is the work of childhood

For adults, talking is the primary way we work through problems. But for children, their brains are still developing the language required for complex emotional expression.

In our dedicated playroom, toys serve as words, and play is the conversation. Through carefully selected therapeutic materials — sand trays, art supplies, miniatures, and puppets — children can safely “play out” their experiences, fears, and frustrations.

Signs your child might benefit from play therapy

Children often communicate their distress through behavior rather than words. If you've noticed sudden or persistent changes in how your child acts, it may be their way of asking for help processing something overwhelming.

Frequent tantrums or meltdowns that seem out of proportion

Difficulty separating from parents or caregivers

Changes in eating or sleeping habits

Aggressive behavior at home or school

Withdrawing from friends or activities they usually enjoy

Struggling to adjust to a new sibling, move, or divorce
